*v* Happy Weekend *v*

Today I had bought my first Olive Tree from the flower market at $120HKD. This is relatively expensive in HK because it is not popular selling in HK. I longed for it because of the fabulous meaning behind. Olive Tree the symbol of wisdom and peace.

***The Promise of a King ***

"The Promise of a King" - A Christmas Proclamation of Hope. Tonight we sang these wonderful songs to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Song - "Fit for a King" by Joseph M. Martin is my favourite song of this collection.
Specially the chorus part:
What gift could I hold to give to the Savior there?
A heart full of love for his people,
a voice that is ready to sing: a life that is willing to give its all,
these are the gifts that are fit for a King,
the only gifts fit for a King.
Wishing you have a warm Christmas, good health, good luck and a successful 2010.

Smooth Ace

There have been a long time not written here. When I searching around YouTube remind me to see if any new stuffs of my favorite Japanese a cappella groups. They are not popular but brilliant – Smooth Ace http://www.smoothace.jp/
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0j9X4P_OEY&feature=related The first time I saw their performance was on the TV show in one of the Japanese TV channel shown in Holiday Inn Hotel Shang Hai - China. I love their songs, touching, then I took photos of them in the TV. I went to HMV when I travelling to Japan, I show their images to the sale lady and then find out their name is Smooth Ace. I start to collect their CD. Finally I bought 3 of their Album. A day in the life of Tokyo; Other people's songs & Shall we dance? I love their music, talent, and the beat is wonderful! I enjoy listening to their music even though I don’t understand Japanese.Unfortunately it is really hard to find their album. I am so happy that they have the official web site, and knowing that their group will often have their performance. I look forward to enjoy their new music album, and wish I can found the cd in Hong Kong HMV.

Typhoon Bonus holiday - Add one more post

Today I would like to add one more post to share my findings.
Every Sunday I will join the choir of the Worship Services with my husband. The music of Bach are always in our song list. This is one of my favorite melody (Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring). I do not know piano, classic and early music, I just listen what I love. To learn more I like to search on internet, I enjoy doing this. And now I have found this on you tube, a wonderful live performance of Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring by Celtic Woman. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPeVIuRjUi4 Wonderful!! I will try to look for the CD/DVD of this group, will share to you if I have more findings.

Mix&match / Old&new - Home decor

All images from www.flickr.com
I love looking for beautiful stuffs, but not only stick to brand new luxury design items. I appreciate the beautiful combination of old and new stuffs. For money saving or eco reasons, make your home decorated by old precious accessories / furniture mixed with the new finishing and decor items will help create / show your style and taste. Made your flat full of warm atmosphere. Don't forget keep the stuffs organised. Everyone can do it! I believe the simple finishing plus the nice arrangement of elements are worth to try and explore. Enjoy you daily life:)

Tuesday, August 19, 2008

I am not a hardworking person, but I always think of creating a well organised home. Aims to make a dream space I will keep looking if some readings can give me some concept and idea. One day I found this in the book store. It's really help.
To keep your home clean, tidy, organised and stylish, here are the key points to follow all the time.
1. Throw away the items you are never, ever going to use again, or please send to the near charity shop.
2. Shop for quality stuff that match your style. Ask yourself, if you don't love it, don't buy.
3. Keep your home organised every day, one day one corner.
Try:) see if work, I am also trying hard to meet the target. Keep doing this will help us save time and save money!!
